The Papa Bear Chair & Ottoman is an absolutely stunning lounge chair by Hans Wegner for A.P. Stolen, Denmark, 1950's AP-19, with matching ottoman AP-29. A truly iconic chair newly upholstered in the most beautiful honey leather. The chair features beautiful oak legs and teak arm paws while the ottoman features matching teak legs.

The Papa Bear Chair, also known as the Teddy Bear Chair, was designed by Hans Wegner in 1951. The chair is named for its large, welcoming form, which is reminiscent of a bear's embrace. The Papa Bear Chair is characterized by its curved backrest, which extends up and around the sides of the chair to create armrests that are both comfortable and supportive. The chair's seat is also curved and angled slightly downward, creating a comfortable and relaxed sitting position. Chair retains the metal Danish Control and Illums Bolighus emblem (high-end department store in Denmark known for selling only authentic danish furniture).
