This is an incredibly rare chair and ottoman designed by Madsen & Schübell for Povel Dinesen (Often misattributed to Kofod Larsen) in Denmark circa 1950's. It features an angled frame made of Afromosa, which is also known as African teak. Newly upholstered in black leather with new straps and foam. This high-back chair is so comfortable, especially for tall individuals. The chair has a spring-loaded tilt mechanism that allows you to both rocks in it and reclines back and locks it into a variety of positions. This is a great Danish modern chair to watch TV in or recline. It is super simple to use. You simply pull it back and lock it into position. The ottoman tilts up to match the position of the chair. This is a rare chair that you are not likely to see again.
