Solid Teak Vanity Dresser Chest designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. It was produced in Denmark by Søborg Møbelfabrik during the 1950's.
This is a rare piece in that it is made of solid teak. The high-quality craftsmanship is notable in the details such as: the finger joints on the exteror of the case, the hemisphere wooden handles, the small drawers inside and the brass details once you open and unfold the first drawer.
The dresser features 4 drawers with the top drawer functioning as a vanity with a hidden mirror that can be pulled out with 6 smaller drawers within the vanity. The mirror is hidden until it's pulled out and flipped up.
