Like the original T-nut screw for Eames Lounge chair seat or ottoman panel. These go into the wood on the inside of the shell and as you tighten the base screw to the ottoman or chair they drive deeper into the wood securing the metal base to the wood chair shell. These are identical to the original hardware from Herman Miller.
