Eames Lounge and Ottomans made between 1956 -1969ย will require fine thread base screws and those that are newerย (made between 1970- new production) will require coarse thread base screws. Another indicator to look for when determining the age of your chair is the label.
If your chair has a Round Herman Miller Logo in either White or Black it is a 1st or 2nd Generation Chair and will need a fine thread.ย
If your chair has a rectangle Herman Miller Logo that is Black with white lettering or Silver with black lettering your chair will require a course thread.ย
