Has your Eames Lounge chair broken? Is your chair sagging or are the shells knocking against each other? This is likely due to the shock mounts failing. The Eames Lounge Chair has four shock mounts underneath the arms needing to be replaced. We can replace shock mounts on any year of Eames Lounge Chair. Shock Mounts often fail because the rubber gets hard and the glue becomes old, brittle and dislodges from the wood shells.
We install only authentic Herman Miller shock mounts which will give new life to your chair. Don't drill through the wood shells or try to do a home repair, it will devalue your chair and likely wont fix the problem. Shock mount repair requires a special knowledge and skillset as the arms plates fit very precisely
If you are not in Southern California, your chair can be disassembled and put into boxes and sent to us for repair. We will send you disassembly and packing instructions.
