Case Pieces
The great case pieces of the mid-century era were designed to be the first thing you notice when you walk into a room — and sixty years on, they still are. A George Nelson credenza. A Edward Wormley sideboard with original tambour doors. A Ib Kofod Larsen Credenza in Rosewood. These aren't accent pieces. They're the architecture of a room.
Our case pieces are sourced from private collections, estate sales, and the occasional fortunate discovery at a storage unit in La Jolla or an auction in Pasadena. Each one arrives at our North Pacific Beach workshop for a full restoration: drawers re-aligned, hardware cleaned or sourced from period-correct suppliers, surfaces brought back without erasing the honest wear of sixty years.
We don't over-restore. A piece that has aged gracefully deserves to show it. What we eliminate is damage. What we preserve is character.
Available in limited quantities — and they move quickly. If you have a specific designer or dimension in mind, reach out. The best pieces often don't make it to the website before they're spoken for.
