    • A sculptural and exceptionally comfortable set of six Danish modern dining chairs designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, Denmark.

Crafted in warm-toned teak, the chairs feature Andersen’s distinctive combination of flowing curves, softened edges, and expressive architectural detailing. The open side rails create a light, graphic profile, while the upright back supports rise into a gently curved upholstered backrest that comfortably supports the body. The generously padded seats make this set especially well suited for long dinners, entertaining, or everyday use.

The chairs retain their existing soft bluish green upholstery, which complements the warmth of the teak beautifully. The fabric is used but remains in good overall condition, showing light age-appropriate wear consistent with normal use.

The teak frames have not been refinished and retain their vintage surface and character. They present well overall, with an attractive aged patina, warm color, and minor wear consistent with their age. The frames remain visually strong and showcase the sculptural construction that makes these chairs so appealing from every angle.

Produced by Uldum Møbelfabrik, this complete set of six is a strong example of late mid-century Danish design—comfortable, beautifully made, and visually distinctive without feeling overly formal.

We can Refinish and upholster these chairs in new fabric which will be additional. Fabric is COM.
