    • An exceptional and rare pair of original "Elizabeth" lounge chairs designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Christensen & Larsen in 1956 — a landmark design in the canon of Danish Modern furniture. Sculpted from solid teak, these chairs represent the pinnacle of mid-century craftsmanship and remain among the most celebrated works of Kofod-Larsen’s career.

The “Elizabeth” chair is widely recognized as a masterwork of Danish design, named after Queen Elizabeth II, who famously purchased the model during a state visit to Denmark in the 1950s. The graceful, organic lines, angled stance, and floating seat form make these chairs as comfortable as they are striking — a perfect harmony of function and aesthetics that defines the best of Scandinavian Modernism.

These are original vintage examples, not reproductions. Both chairs are stamped with the Christensen & Larsen branding marks, underscoring their authenticity. With their timeless design, impeccable joinery, and warm patina, they are a statement addition to any modern or curated interior.
