Over decades of restoration work, we grew frustrated with aftermarket components that didn't match the precision of Herman Miller's original engineering. So we built our own manufacturing program—producing shock mounts, cushion sets, and hardware that meet or exceed factory standards.

Starting your restoration: a simple guide
We've guided hundreds of clients through this process. Your chair will arrive safely when packed with care, and we'll be with you every step of the way.
Step 1: Request a quote
Fill out our restoration inquiry form and include photos of your chair from all angles, close-ups of damaged areas, wood shell condition, and the base and shock mounts.
We respond within 48 hours with a detailed estimate and restoration timeline.
Step 2: Packing & Shipping
Once we've consulted on leather and finish choices, choose your shipping method:
Option 1: Self-Pack & Ship
Disassemble your chair (easier than it sounds—we'll show you how) and ship it boxed with tracking. Fastest and most affordable.

Option 2: Full-Service Pickup
We arrange professional transport. Your chair stays assembled, handled with white-glove care from door to workshop.

Step 3: Workshop Magic
Your chair enters our restoration queue.
Step 4: Safe Return
We blanket wrap and ship your restored chair with the same care we'd use for a museum loan—fully insured shipping with delivery to your door. Southern California clients: free pickup available.
