Nakashima Straight Chair was designed in 1946 by George Nakashima. Knoll initially produced the chair, but later discontinued it. The chair was reintroduced by Knoll in 2008. This chair has been professionally restored and has the Knoll Nakahima imprint on the underside.
Handcrafted from solid walnut with a spindle back and minimalist Shaker influence, the chair exemplifies Nakashimaโs dedication to natural materials and honest construction. Our restoration team preserved the integrity of the original design while sensitively refinishing the wood to reveal its organic grain and warmth.
