Architectural, useful, and unmistakably Dunbar, this Edward Wormley “Magazine Tree” table presents five cantilevered trays radiating from a central upright—an elegant way to stage books, magazines, or objects while keeping a compact footprint. Crafted in solid walnut with soft bullnose edges and Dunbar’s refined joinery, it reads like a small piece of sculpture beside a lounge chair or sofa.
Designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, Berne, Indiana, the Magazine Tree embodies Wormley’s hallmark: modern lines elevated by cabinetmaker craftsmanship. An original DUNBAR metal tag is present (see photos). Produced in far smaller numbers than his case pieces, this model is genuinely rare and sought after by collectors and designers for its form and function.
